Directions: Complete each of the following steps.

Step 1: Select two careers that interest you and record them in the space below:

Step 2: Research each career to discover answers to the following questions. Take notes using the organizers below. Your notes will help you provide details in your analysis.
Use U.S. Department of Labor website to do your research.

• How much education or training is required to start?
• What salary could you expect in the beginning?
• What are the related careers you could do with the same training?
• What would you like most about this career?
• What would you like least about it?
• What would you like to learn more about after doing this research?

Step 3: Choose the career you find most appealing based on your research and reflect on your discoveries. Use as much of your research as necessary to explain your choice. Write at least one developed and organized paragraph about your career choice. Don’t worry about research paper formatting.

In your reflection, be sure to include specific information that you discovered about your career.
