My Topic is Human TRafficking
COM 110 Speaking with Style annotated bib assignment instructions folder
You will need to select a topic or at least an area in which to do your annotated bib. This is where it would be good for you to have an idea that you would like to do an informative speech on so that the research you do for this assignment will also support your speech. However, if you do not know what you want to do a speech on, just pick a topic that interests you to do an annotated bib on.
You must use two (2) scholarly/peer reviewed journal articles, one (1) book or e-book, one (1) credible website, and one (1) newspaper or periodical article.
They must be correctly formatted in APA (as seen an example papers on blackboard) complete with title page.
All five (5) sources must be related to the same topic or area of research, not five random sources.
See the document for writing instructions below as well as the section on Annotated bibs from the Purdue OWL website.
ANNOTATIONS VS. ABSTRACTS
Abstracts are the purely descriptive summaries often found at the beginning of scholarly journal articles or in periodical indexes. Annotations are descriptive and critical; they may describe the author’s point of view, authority, or clarity and appropriateness of expression. One of the reasons I am requiring you to submit it through Bb is so that it goes through the plagiarism filter, so you won’t be tempted to copy and paste the abstract.
