Your initial post should respond to both questions below and should be around 300 words. In your response, be sure to include reference to specific moments, language, and details from the student essay.

1. What do you notice about the student’s selection, incorporation, and/or explanation of research that relates to her topic and thesis? What does it inspire you to want to research with respect to your own topic?

2. What, specifically, do you notice about the student’s approach to argumentation? In other words, what do you notice about how she approaches her argument that you would like to try out in your own essay? Reference a specific moment in which she does something interesting in order to persuade her audience.

In addition, you will need to respond meaningfully to TWO of your classmates’ posts, and those responses should be at least 100 words.

Responses to Two Classmates’ Posts–due Monday 9/30 by 8 p.m. 10 points

In order to get full credit for the assignment you will need to complete both the Initial Discussion Post (15 points) and the two Responses (10 points). If your initial post is flagged as late, then you will not receive points for that portion of the assignment. No exceptions.
