PART 1

In this assignment, you will be assuming a different persona of someone living in the present. You will then try and assess five items that would reflect what that person sees as the most significant reflections of their personal, present life and why. Purpose

This discussion focuses on assessing one’s present world, and how to teach future generations about what a person would see as the most significant artifacts of their own world. Essentially, anything that lasts is a time capsule, such as a building, poem, a “holy book,” or even bones. Archeologists are among many professions that view virtually anything they find as an indication of what life once was. It has become popular among major public building projects to include a container that houses items from the time the foundation was built. We are going to do the same in this assignment.

****** Your first post will state the five items your person would have chosen, with detailed historical evidence of why they would have chosen those particular objects. Show all the historical evidence you gathered that leads you to select these items and how they best reflect that person’s immediate world.

Earning a high score: (AROUND 1000 words)

  • Gathering evidence: Each successful post will show fifteen or more pieces of evidence (statistics, events, and/or examples) related to the post.
  • Analyzing the evidence: A successful examination will include three or more historically valid observations within each post.
  • Communicating honestly to yourself and others: Successful communication will clearly state this evidence and analysis, with correct grammar and spelling
