Rubric for Career Presentations   • You are only expected to develop a 5 minute presentation.  If your presentation goes more than 10 minutes, you may be asked to bring it to a close. • The main objective of this presentation is learning to deliver information online to a group of colleagues. This has been requested by our industry partners since this is now an integral part of the workplace environment. • Below the scoring rubric, you will find a list of resources to assist you.   Requirement Points Points Content: Explain the program that you are enrolled in.  Do not just say networking or cybersecurity.  Explain the specific program track, and why you chose it. Specific details can include, but are not limited to:   • Why you chose your program • Short and long-term career goal • Salary information • Job outlook and growth • Career growth paths • Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities • Number of jobs in in field • At least one job posting of interest to you. o Include certification and educational requirements o If years of experience are required, how do you propose to fulfill that? • Three sources documented on last slide 40   Well-developed PowerPoint  • A title slide • At least 3 body slides • Graphics/pictures/tasteful amount of color  • Bulleted points; no paragraphs to read;  • No font smaller than 20pts • A resources slide (not counted in body slides) 20   Presentation to classmates 20   Active listening and interaction with other presenters 20   Total 100
